Thankyou for taking the time to learn about ‘Creating for Charity’ which the website here is based on. My name is Anne and I am the founder of Kriaytive (creative) I started this idea as a way to raise funds for a charity in Nepal that I founded – helping at risk women & children. I lived in Nepal full time for 10 years with my husband and younger children. The hardest part of actually living in Nepal with a charity was raising the funds we needed. It was much easier to be in Australia and raise what was needed. I needed a plan! And here we are. To pass my time I started joining a few online Art classes and decided this was also something I could offer. I needed at the time about $500 extra every month.

I decided I could sell my classes and the profits could go to my charity. I first started by have in person retreats and invited students to join me in Nepal where I became their tour guide and we created Art across Nepal, it was great fun! Then the earthquake hit and tourists stayed away for nearly two years, so I went online and started offering my classes there. I now have a much larger offering and have many online courses available – some are 100% proceeds to Charity (that means all the funds collected get donated)
And some of the classes are 100% of the profits go to charity. That means these classes also fund the costs of running this site. Yes I have website hosting fees, admin etc to pay for, after they are taken care of then profits can go to charity.

In 2022 thanks to our awesome online students we were able to donate $10.364.80 AU to my charity in Nepal. This is super exciting news… but from 2023 I will be changing things up a bit. I want to give smaller amounts to charities we align with around the world. Working with many NGO’s in Nepal I truly know how hard it is when emergency funding is required. It may be new bunks beds for some children that need emergency housing. Women that need to escape DV, tuition for children to sit their exams. What about a family that needs some extra food? It is hard because as a charity you can’t just pull that money from core funding – that is already allocated. SO I want ‘US’ a creative bunch of friends to be that financial support needed. By Supporting the Art classes either by buying the classes or teaching some classes we can make a difference.

So how can you be involved? It is super easy! BUY A CLASS, they are available at super affordable prices and then all profits go to charity! Our most popular class is CHAT~ CUPPA ~ CREATE it is a monthly subscription that has new classes added each month and gives you full access to everything on the website. Cheaper than the cost of a cup of takeaway coffee per week. CLICK HERE to check out this fabulous offering.
